PRAIA E CAFÉ

From the city of Mosteiros we walk towards the villages of Pai Antonio and Cutelo Alto. From here you'll find the most famous coffee in the archipelago where it is still roasted and grounded in the traditional way. The ring path brings you back along the beautiful coast.

VINHO

.  This path has a high cultural importance. Starting from the city of Portela, it continues on an old Portuguese road that runs along the vineyards, typical of the Caldera. Once you get to the village of Penedo Rachado, you reach the most typical lava formations where you can also explore the underground caves.

CAMPANAS- SALINAS

Campanas de Cima is connected through hiking trails to many island sites. This easy route leads to the fishing community of Salinas through mango and banana tree farms with a constant view of the western part of the island

BOTANICO

The trail into Monte Velha Reserve is of  great botanical importance. You can meet many of the endemic species of the archipelago and the island of Fogo

ORLA MARÍTIMA

This trail is near sea cliffs and beaches. An abandoned village under the slopes of the volcano and a fishing community are some of the attractions of this path.
